Congratulations to all these brave kids who were hesitant on the ski hill at first but were risk takers and went for it. They did not want to stop after our last lesson! Everyone did so well, they should be proud!

Last Friday, we visited the seniors at the Redwoods Retirement Residence. The students sang songs, shared their interests and talked about their school. They asked the senior questions about the communities they grew up in and the toys they played with when they were little. It was a great visit and a cold walk back to school!

Our Trip to the National Art Gallery

Last week, we had a blast at the National Art Gallery. We learned about some of the art featured at the gallery, about primary, secondary colours and shades. Did you know that pink is not a colour, but a shade?! Later, we made our own art that was meant to be inspired by a massive picture of bead work displayed in the gallery. After lunch, we got to explore a little more freely before it was time to get on the bus and return to school. We had a great morning!
